I’m one of those writes who has a million and one different plots and ideas going through my head at any given time. So when I finished Second Chance at Happiness I immediately started on Second Chance at Passion. I’d only written a couple of chapters when I had to start editing SC@Happiness so I put it away to concentrate on the edits which turned out to be more of a re-write than edits.

I finished the edits for that book and went back to Passion where I proceeded to stare at my blinking cursor. A lot like Alex does in Nim’s Island when she’s trying to write her book. Nothing was coming to me.

Then it hit.

I was writing the wrong story.

So I walked out of my office, told Mr. Lire to open my One Note and to go to a tab where I’d written a four questions about some law enforcement men I’d seen on a special. Kind of a what happened to thing. And we brainstormed.

Now I’m ready to tackle this new idea I have, and see where it goes. Hopefully into an amazing book.

Don’t worry I’ll still be working on Passion, but I will be alternating between the two.

So starting tomorrow morning I will be opening a new document and starting on this new adventure. Beginning with research. Because I have to research.
