Recently I had a conversation with an author friend and we were talking about out writing goals for 2013. I told her what I was currently working on, and her response was O.O She couldn’t imagine writing that many things at once.

I have to admit I had to stop and think about this for a minute.

Then it came to me…I can do this because I spent years going from Italian Literature to French Literature to Spanish Literature back to French Literature and then Spanish Literature again when I was in college. I was constantly having to think about different books, stories plays etc AND in different languages to boot. My poor professors. They never knew what language I was going to speak :O

But all that shifting allowed my brain to develop creatively so that I can write more than one thing at a time. For which I am grateful otherwise I think I would be bored and a bored author is never a good thing.

I also have this really nifty program on my computer where I put all and I do mean ALL my notes and ideas for every single story/series I am working/contemplating/thinking about in.
