Until I logged in this morning I hadn’t realized just how long it’s been since I was on this page…which means the five of you who read this are due and update.
Today marks the first day of my summer break. To give you and idea of how the last few months have gone here’s a picture…
This means that most everything has fallen by the wayside unless it had to do with teaching, looking for a new teaching job as the school I was at is closing next year so the staff was reduced by more than half, and track season (someone decided he needed to be a track super star this past season, he missed out on state by one one hundredth of a second, but won the state high school pentathlon) and going on college football recruiting trips (and yes it was the same child).
But school is out, my classroom is packed up and sitting in my garage or entry way (the garage needs to be organized to fit my classroom) until August when I can move into my classroom. I’ve traded a one hour each way commute (yes my school was that far away in good traffic) to a five minute commute (new school is 2.5 miles from my house).
This means that I can FINALLY finish the edits on Second Chance at Forever and get the pre-order up. It has a brand new cover, has been re-edited and been expanded in parts.
I did manage to finish my novella for Changing on the Fly: The 2nd Period. My story Second Chance at Love is a part of the Holiday Vermont Series. That book will be out in October.
Until next time…
