At the beginning of June I pitched one of the stories I’d written to a publisher at an event and then heard nothing from them. I figured hey it was good practice and a learning experience and put it out of my mind. To be completely honest here I actually forgot all about it. That is until yesterday.

When we got home from church yesterday and in between the mad the rush to get everything loaded into the car for my sons birthday party I checked my email. I know I know sooo not the time for something like that, but hey it a compulsion I have.

In my in-box was an email from that publisher wanting more. I about had a heart attack. So now I’m going back through it to make sure it’s okay and sending them more because they want more.

oh and yeah I’m pretty much freaking out!!
